I need to hook my exteranal up to the network so my laptop can get at it.
This is for several reasons.

1. My second usb port is kind of shitty and the external will pop out, giving Media Monkey a seizure and ruining my jamz.

2. I'd like to leave utorrent running on the PC while me and lappy are out and about. That way I come home to mah movies.

Okay, so maybe there were just two reasons. Anyway, someone told me all I have to do is put the external in my shared folder on the computer. Did that. But when I pull up the shared folder on the laptop I get nothing.

Lil help? I'm running Windows XP on both of these things if that's helpful.
