Yeah, so first day of classes was awesome.
After only getting about 3 hours I got up about 20 minutes late and booked it out the door. Luckily, my first professor was late to class so technically I was there on time. First class is Sociology. The class was suppose to be around 30 kids, but only half that showed up. I'm fine with that, since the classroom really isn't that large.
She made us read the syllabus out loud in class. OMFG people can't read. I thought I was going to rip my ears off by the second paragraph. Oh! She decided that we did not need to switch to the newest edition of the textbook, which means my book will cost $46 dollars, instead of $106. Full of win.
Next class was my Poly Sci class. Teacher seems to be my kind of geek. She plays Everquest. Apparently there was some big Everquest con in Las Vegas that she was just getting back from. There's some girl in the class that reeeeeally likes the sound of her own voice. Prof. asked her one question and she droned on for like 10 minutes.
After Poly Sci I had a 3 hour gap in my class schedule, which I spent sleeping in the comfy chair at work. I am teh hobo. Headed back to HFCC for the last class of the day, Intro to Psych.
I friggin love this class people! All the students are interesting, and the professor had me cracking my shit up from the moment she started talking. It is going to be ridiculously hard from the looks of the syllabus, but I will persevere! The class is a 3 hour lecture with a 20 minute break. She let us out almost and hour and a half early today. We just introduced ourselves and went over the they syllabus. Actually, that's pretty much all we did in every class today.
Ooooh! Jen G. might already have 2 of textbooks I need from taking the classes already, which will save me so much money buying them off her instead of the bookstore.
Today was good day. I can't explain to you how happy it makes me to be back in school again. ♥
::sigh:: Time to do some laundry and then head to bed. I have to be back up at 8am again.
